Re: Pokemon of the Week
May I say something about Empoleon?
He is probably the best starter. He has many resistances, hardly any weakness. He is a strong fighter, and learns good moves.
Overall, I'd give him a 9.5/10.
Perfection doesn't exist! Or does it.....

Re: Pokemon of the Week
Hmmm...well, for all those who know my FAVORITE pokemon, welcome...
Suicune!!
She is beautiful, which is what I can say. Ice doesn't have many weaknesses, and where there is, she has excellent speed.

Re: Pokemon of the Week
once again, that is coming from a fire lover, whom suicune can easily smite with a water move. sentinel, you can post the next one, after a week is over. please. or i will start singing again.
Re: Pokemon of the Week
Many pokemon that aren't fire type are still excellent in battle. Please don't post stuff like that without giving a good competitive reason...it's really just spam...ItachiUchihaDestroy wrote:well i say suicunie is as wack as a wurmple
However, if you don't believe me, then I challenge you to make a mono fire team and battle me. Doesn't have to be lv100, it'll auto raise it on wifi.
fyi, you have to put the size tags inside the quote for it to work.ItachiUchihaDestroy wrote:Sentinel wrote:I wants to post the next one!

Re: Pokemon of the Week
Suicune is Water, not Ice...I did mean RestTalk, which is a combo of Rest and Sleep Talk (probably what you meant by using Sleep Talk anyway)
If I'm not mistaken, the only way a Charizard can really beat a Blastoise is if Blastoise switches in on a Bellyzard subbing. Then with max attack, it has a chance to OHKO Blastoise. As Blastoise is a Bulky Water, Charizard can't OHKO it otherwise, and Blastoise should OHKO Charizard with STAB Surf.ItachiUchihaDestroy wrote:but if a charzarid can kick a Blastosie @$$ then why not? it can beat a blastosie its a really strong on`

Re: Pokemon of the Week
this week's POTW is...Regice!
378 Regice
Species: Iceberg
Type: Ice
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 385.8 lbs
Ruby location: Island Cave (Route 105)
Sapphire location: Island Cave (Route 105)
Emerald location: Island Cave (Route 105)
FireRed location: Trade from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald
LeafGreen location: Trade from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald
Colosseum location: Trade from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald
XD location: Trade from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald
Diamond location: Transfer from GBA via Pal Park
Pearl location: Transfer from GBA via Pal Park
HP: 80
Atk: 50
Def: 100
SpA: 100
SpD: 200
Spd: 50
Regice has the potential for to be a poweful special wall (200 SpD!). However, it's rarely used; Blissey and Snorlax are much more commonly seen.
Calm, max HP (its lowest stat), then maybe 129 Def / 129 SpA. It's SpD is so high it doesn't really need EVs there. With Def, you can survive hits from sweepers such as Salamence and Gyarados, then Boltbeam them.
Moves:
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Thunder Wave
Rest
Regice can also use several other special moves, but BoltBeam does normal or SE damage to almost every pokemon. Sleep Talk could be an option over Thunder Wave, so it doesn't have to sleep 2 turns after Rest.

Re: Pokemon of the Week
This week's Pokemon is...
NUMBER 243 ~ RAIKOU!
Raikou information:
Type(s): Electric
Background Information (source: Wikipedia): According to legend, the Legendary Beasts were reincarnated by Ho-Oh from the spirits of three Pokémon which died in the fire that gave Burnt Tower its name. They are awakened in this tower in their first appearance. Another myth maintains that Raikou descended to earth together with a lightning bolt. Each Beast personifies a force of nature - Raikou, in particular, embodies the speed of lightning.
Like many Electric-type Pokémon, Raikou stores tremendous energy inside its body. This grants it extraordinary vitality, allowing it to run continuously across the land while shooting off electricity from the rain cloud that is on its back. Raikou's roar is aptly described as "thunderous": it is loud enough to create shock waves and shake the ground as if actual thunder had struck.
~
Standard Moveset(s):
Raikou @ Leftovers/Shell Bell/Chesto
Timid | Pressure
252 Sp Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
~Calm Mind
~Thunderbolt
~Shadow Ball/HP Ice
~Thunder Wave/Rest/HP Ice
Special Sweeper. *****
