Ash and his problem.

Couldn't help but realize that the new seasons just aren't as good as the first in my opinion. I was awestruck once Ash made it to the Pokemon league. He had worked hard and learned lessons to help him become a very good trainer... then he went to the Orange Islands.

He picked up a Lapras and owned that Dragonite champion and I thought, this kid is going places, even though I hate his voice, mannerisms, and even his dirty face. Then I began to realize something as the show moved to its next season...

Ash can't deal with having strong pokemon...

His Charizard? Gone and off training for what has probably been years at the Charizard mountain reserve... thing. Understandable.

His Pidgeot? Off protecting his kind in some odd place in Viridian forest from a SINGLE FEAROW! I can stretch to understand that.

His Lapras? Freed. HE FREED A FRICKIN LAPRAS! What is his problem!?

His Sceptile? Thought to be in Pallet Town with Professor Oak. Hasn't used it since.

His Tauros? Pallet Town. Never used outside Orange Islands.

His Kingler? Mysteriously nonexistant after Pokemon League.

His Bulbasaur with Solar Beam? Off protecting again.

His Squirtle with Hydro Pump? Firefighting.

Look, I know they want him to start over in each region to show new pokemon in action... but when will they bring in a new pokemon league huh? Been waiting for several seasons and now they brought in Beauty Contests... I want poke-on-poke fights to the death! I don't know about you.

So in review... Ash's problems. He can't keep a good poke other than Pikachu and no more Pokemon League. How disgusting.

Aww...Come on, lighten up. Who knows, he might be trying to start anew, like what we do with video games. We start anew, and try to gain a new, strong team. Now seriously, if he was using all of his strong pokemon from the first season, would he be able to get a strong Sceptile?

But, on the other hand, you do have a point...

why would they have him beat the league? As long as he continues to train new pokes from each region, for whatever reason they say, he can't beat the league, and they can make more money from the anime series. However, it seems to be dying - I think only Cartoon Network shows it now.

i think they still show it on boomerang, but it is dying. don't even get me started on the new opening themes.

I think ash is too weak for his on good

no he tries to little his problem is that he is not the type to hold power(note: he could have beaten everything out there or almost everything if he had his origonal pkmn)

Honestly I feel he just abandons his pokemon

I think he's stupid.

Charizard, Sceptile, Pikachu, and a couple others he has caught are all he needs to be able to beat everyone with the ugly stick.
